Reclaimed antique French oak floorboards. These French oak floorboards are formed by splitting and planing much thicker, slow grown antique French oak planks. Antique French oak of this high quality will have a honey tone and is characterful due to the dark knots, shakes and other marks that are inherent to this type of old oak. Unlike modern engineered oak flooring that can be dull and lifeless, this reclaimed French oak can be used to make a floor that can really enhance a property. It will be the subject of conversation at dinner parties! Widths may vary as is the case with many reclaimed floors. Supplied unfinished so will require sanding and finishing but we can brush the boards for you at the added cost of £15m2.
